Last October, one of my wife's cousins who is studying in KL came to Penang, to plan a suitable itinerary for the 2-day-1-night trip they are organizing for their freshmen (they belong to a society comprising students from the two East Malaysia states).
So we took him around the island, to point out to him places of interest.

Since we were starting the journey from where we now stay in Pantai Acheh, we decided to go up north first. And along the way from Pantai Acheh to Teluk Bahang, the first notable tourist attraction (other than a rather popular waterfall about 5 km from our place) is the Tropical Fruit Farm.
It is located on a hill slope, and from the main road, you have to go up a stretch of rather steep road about 300 meters long, before you would read the actual entrance of the premise.
Since it is touted as a "fruit farm", of course you would find it selling fruits...
We started the trip early in the morning, so when we got to the place, it was still not too late for a second breakfast, so we set our eyes on...
Rojak!
It was rather expensive, to be honest. But after all, you can't expect any less at a tourist spot. :-/
But at least, you get to eat your expensive breakfast in a very nice environment, with fresh air and greenery all around...
And the view is very nice. My picture does not do the place justice, I'm afraid.

But the place where you could sit down to enjoy your food is by no means the only place with a view...
You could still enjoy the view when "doing business". :-)
I wonder if any of the animals (like birds and monkeys and squirrels) living around that area has learned to appreciate the, uh, "spectacle". :-p
